Qualifications and Requirements

Essential:

• Relevant Band 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field

• Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) / Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) certification

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with people with mental health challenges

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• At least 6 months’ experience working in a mental health care setting

• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care
