What is a RMN nurse?

A registered mental health nurse (RMN) is a nursing professional who has completed their studies and holds a degree and formal training to provide mental health assessments, care and treatment for a range of conditions and diagnosis.

A vital function of an RMN is to provide reliable assessments, counselling and support to patients in a hospital setting. In addition to these functions, they will also provide physical nursing to patients in need, such as wound care, but they would not be responsible for cleaning, feeding and dressing patients.
